This position will oversee recruitment and hiring. The Recruiter will manage our hiring initiatives to include everything from writing job descriptions, coaching managers through difficult hiring decisions, to onboarding staff. The Recruiter will work closely with managers and HR to understand the recruiting needs of the business, anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies to meet those needs in a cost effective, timely manner.
Responsibilities
· Oversee and execute robust hiring and onboarding processes that ensure we are hiring the best candidates and are setting them up for success as they enter the organization — this will include everything from writing job descriptions, sourcing, phone screens, designing and running the interview process, facilitating decision-making meetings, and seeing the process through to an accepted offer.
· Conduct in-depth intake meetings with leaders to ensure alignment on position, impact, and expectations while providing market insights and education
· Ensure consistency in the candidate process is followed and track through the in-house tracking systems.
· Consistently identify, develop and bring strong processes to our hiring and onboarding decisions at every stage in the process to ensure diverse candidate pools and great hires.
· Coach and support hiring managers throughout the hiring process, as well as give them feedback as it relates to hiring, decision-making, and equity
· Continuously build the candidate pipeline.
· Analyze sourcing and recruitment to determine the most effective and cost-effective strategies Onboarding.
· Manage onboarding of new employees, ensuring that they have a clear first week plan that orients them to the organization and their role.
· Work with marketing to ensure our employer branding is aligned with our storytelling narrative.
· Develop, drive, and/or support additional projects to support and develop our team to thrive.
Skills
· Minimum of 3 years of full life cycle recruitment experience is required in a biotech/pharma/corporate environment preferred.
· Experience headhunting for talent in the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
· Ability to identify and resolve problems through recommending and implementing creative solutions.
· Experience sourcing candidates from all levels.
· Strong customer drive and dedication to quality and success.
· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
· Excellent internal/external customer service skills.
· Results-oriented mindset (high sense of urgency, determination, tenacity, etc.).
· Attention to detail is mandatory and must demonstrate meticulous organization skills with the ability to work independently.
· Excellent negotiating skills coupled with strong ability to handle objections effectively.
· Able to work collaboratively and effectively while handling multiple projects on various timelines in an extremely fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
