This person must be an out-of-the-box thinker with high energy and a fast-paced mindset when it comes to recruiting. Not someone who is going to rely on Indeed postings as the only source of candidates. This person will get involved in the community, and online groups, and find where the talent is; not wait for it to present itself. This role is will provide high-volume manufacturing recruiting and create an impeccable candidate experience. In this position, you’d be responsible for building and growing strong talent pools.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts employment-related research and other methods of sourcing qualified candidates.
• Provides customized screening and initial contact of applicants to determine qualification and interest level.
• Engaging in community outreach within areas where strong applicant pools are
• Developing relationships with organizations that could be a referral source
• Creating and tweaking job descriptions and posting them on career websites
• Assess incoming resumes
• Refers appropriate candidates to recruiter and/or hiring supervisor.
• Provides support coordination of recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others.
• Represents and promotes organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data.
• Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, HRSC, compensation, benefits, pay administration, and other related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations.
• Serves as point of contact for provision of consultative service to hiring authorities.
• Assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve processes.
• Screen potential candidates
• Conduct interviews by phone
• Maintain interview and hiring records

Qualifications:

• MUST have 2+ years of high-volume manufacturing recruitment experience/candidate sourcing or related area
• Must be able to work successfully onsite within a manufacturing environment
• Must have strong interviewing skills and understand how to evaluate a candidate and the needs of each hiring manager
• Ability to conduct interviews via phone and online meeting platforms if need be
• Knowledge of candidate management systems, ATS sourcing/screening (preferred)
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong leadership skills
