Permanent Equity Hiring for Head of Sales Job at Remote Full Time

The Position:

Permanent Equity is currently seeking a Head of Marketplace Sales to lead our sales and marketing efforts across eCommerce and retail marketplaces for one of our portfolio companies located in the Phoenix metro area. The ideal candidate will have significant experience selling consumer products on Amazon Marketplace (60-70% of this roles’ efforts will be spent on Amazon). Additional experience with big box retailers such as Home Depot, Walmart, Big Lots, etc. would be highly desirable.

A Successful Head of Marketplace Sales will:

• Expand our product catalog by understanding current industry trends and work with product development to bring those products to market.
• Develop a strategy for marketing spend and manage the effectiveness of marketing efforts across platforms.
• Align and implement sales goals and priorities with key internal and external decision-makers.
• Own key relationships with Amazon, Home Depot, Big Lots, Walmart and other big box retailers as well as expand and bring in new partnerships.
• Drive top line revenue growth. (Variable compensation will be tied to maintaining current sales across platforms and generating new sales growth.)
• Effectively lead and direct the efforts of our internal eCommerce and Marketing team.

Qualifications:

• BS in a Business or Marketing related field and 5-7 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• eCommerce Account Management Experience
• Highly motivated self-starter who can take initiative with a “hunter” mentality.
• Capacity to effectively form relationships, informally influence, and concisely communicate at all levels of the organization.

• Casual Work Environment
• Ability to work remotely (For the first 2-3 months, you would visit headquarters every 2 weeks or so during training/onboarding. Visits would be less frequent after that.)

• Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 base + commissions and bonus

Pay: $75,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year
