Benefits and Compensation
PCHS offers a wide variety of benefits through a customizable cafeteria plan. In addition to receiving employer-paid basic life and long-term disability insurance, eligible employees can choose between several employer-subsidized health insurance plans and YMCA and Costco memberships. PCHS also offers a 403(b)-retirement plan, pet insurance, and legal and long-term care plans, among others.
For pay equity purposes, PCHS calculates salaries based on a wage scale that incorporates a standardized approach to compensation. Accordingly, PCHS does not engage in salary negotiations for non-provider staff.
Job Summary
The Security Analyst is responsible for designing and implementing IT security systems to protect the organization’s computer networks from cyberattacks. This role will also help develop organization wide best practices for IT security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Monitor computer networks for security issues and investigate a violation when one occurs
· Responsible for keeping security systems up to date and creating documentation and planning for all security-related information, including incident response and disaster recovery plans; periodically testing disaster plans
· Verify the security of third-party vendors and collaborate with them to meet security requirement
· Perform both internal and external security audits
· Analyze security breaches to identify the root cause
· Install and use software such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect sensitive information
· Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing systems to ensure functioning data processing activities and security measures
· Understand patch management and firewalls, and antivirus and IDPS concepts
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge on IT security trends and hacker attack methods
· Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct reports.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT-related field (preferred)
· Two to three years of experience with computer technology (preferred)
· One (1) year of experience with Threat Hunting and Security Incident Response (required)
· Two (2) years of experience with two SIEM products (preferred)
· Certified Information Systems Security Professional – CISSP within 120 days of hire (preferred)
· Valid driver’s license (required)

Work Environment and Physical Demands
With multiple locations and settings, PCHS’ work environment and physical demands vary greatly depending on the employee’s role. Essential job functions include the following: The employee is required to talk, hear, see, smell, sit and stand. The employee is frequently required to move around the facility; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Employees may be exposed to mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
