Here at Kittyhawk in Palo Alto, we are developing ground breaking all-electric Vertical Take off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft. They are designed to be fast, small, and exceedingly quiet, taking advantage of new possibilities to free people from traffic.

We are looking for a Payroll Contractor to administer the timely and accurate processing of our payroll. Our ideal candidate is experienced in regularly running payroll for salaried and hourly employees as well as variable compensation. Our ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and has an incomparable attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all payroll operations related to employee compensation and variable compensation such as sign-on and relocation lump sum payments, spot bonus payments, and benefits withholding
• Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of effective payroll processes, policies, and internal controls
• Respond to employee inquiries and request regarding payroll matters, facilitate management and employee understanding of payroll procedures
• Ensure compliance with all payroll tax laws and consistently up- to date on guidance for taxation of salaries and benefits in various states
• Reconcile all payroll accounts for month end
• Support processes and general transition to a PEO

• Professional experience administering payroll for both salaried and hourly employees
• Experience with Namely or similar cloud-based processing platform
