The University Information
Technology-Academic Technologies department is seeking a Technology Systems Integrator. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month,
professional faculty position.

This
position is in the Academic Technologies which is part of the Technical and Solutions Architecture (TSA) unit within Oregon State
University’s University Information & (UIT) division, this position shares and supports the University’s mission by assisting the University
to extend all programs, teachings, research, and communication throughout the world. The services provided by UIT-TSA units, including
Academic Technologies, Administrative Technologies, Infrastructure, Digital Experience, Digital Research, and Network & Telecom Services,
assist the University community by facilitating transmission of knowledge and expertise to its members, thereby enhancing their ability to
be productive, valued, and esteemed members of the University community, serving the State of Oregon. Services are provided to students,
faculty, and staff for curricular, research, intellectual, and administrative activities and needs, as well as to the wider Oregon higher
education and government community. There are approximately 175 faculty and classified employees in UIT, as well as 150 FTE student
positions. UIT administers a total budget of $35+ million.
The Technology Systems Integrator is a professional faculty position in
Oregon State University’s UIT- Academic Technologies (AT) department in University Information and Technology (UIT) and reports to the
Associate Director of Technical Services. The person in this position takes the lead role in the specification, design, installation,
maintenance and management of audio/video transmission systems for OSU. In that capacity they will work as part of a team in the
administration, systems analysis and technical management of existing systems. The person in this position works closely with media
production staff, system specialists, vendors, and other IT units in the integration, installation, and maintenance of systems encompassing
audiovisual, broadcasting, scoreboards, networks, and other technologies related to supporting media-rich events and venues at Oregon State
University. The position will act as point of contact for production crews, including professional service contractors, students, and OSU
staff, interfacing with campus broadcast assets and venues. The position requires strong technical knowledge and personnel management skills
to deliver effective video, audio, scoreboards, and communications services for OSU events. They will report to supervisors on emerging
technologies and circumstances that might affect existing or future programs. Will follow direction of leadership as to system goals of
transmission systems for use within OSU.

This position requires driving a university vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the university; therefore,
the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid drivers license in their state
of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions as per University Policy 05-030.

position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history
check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report
convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
