University Housing & Dining Services, at Oregon State University, is looking for multiple
Food Service Worker 3 employees. These are full-time, academic year (10-month), classified positions on the Corvallis campus.
There is the possibility of the positions being extended over the summer months due to campus and conference
business.

Responsibilities:
Perform a
variety of food preparation, customer service and food service activities like preparing simple foods to meet customers preferences,
cashiering, making coffee drinks, washing dishes, stocking restaurants, etc. while maintaining a positive attitude.

About Dining Services
University Housing & Dining Services
(UHDS) houses over 4,800 students and offers a variety of living and dining options in 15 residence halls, three dining centers, a market,
catering, and 10-14 convenience and coffee shop locations across the Corvallis campus. We employ over 150 professional dining employees and
800 student employees. We provide clean, sanitary working environments for our guests and employees that are regularly maintained and
serviced. And we partner with Benton County Health to help ensure we are operating at the highest safety levels. Everyone is welcome to eat
at any dining location on campus, so come check us out.

What You Will Need
Knowledge of retail food service and experience operating
commercial food service equipment.Experience in food service safety and sanitation process and procedures.Good customer services skills
when working with internal and external customers.Ability to respond positively to changing work demands as well as the ability to work
cooperatively and positively with a variety of individuals.Strong communication skills including the ability to understand and convey
written and verbal directions/instructions, recipes, safety information, machine instructions, and other communications.Requires a valid
Food Handlers certificate within 30 days of employment. Must maintain certification throughout employment with UHDS.This position is
designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and
be determined to be position qualified as per OAR 576-055-0000 et.seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in
Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 24 months.Offers of employment are contingent upon meeting all minimum
qualifications including the Criminal History Check Requirement.
