We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our Playcare! You will plan and present age appropriate activities for children, building a curriculum with a fun and enthusiastic staff! We are a small center style in home built on lots of love and hard work! Looking for a passionate and loving teacher who is punctual and dependable.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct toddler-preschool children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students’ growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• MUST be registered in the ORO (Oregon Registry Online)
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Healthy and open Communication with parents and staff
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is a salary position starting at 3200 a month
Willing and able to work with potty training children
Willing to complete further training through professional development
Able to lift 40 lbs
