Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Counseling, Health and Wellness, the Collegiate Recovery Outreach Counselor will develop, coordinate, and deliver integrated outreach as a preventive measure to spearhead a comprehensive, developmental program for collegiate recovery services related to substance use disorders (SUD). As part of this prevention work, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for providing services designed to support students wanting sobriety or help minimizing substance use including counseling, raise the level of student, faculty, and staff awareness of SUD, including risk factors, as well as to provide best practices for the provision of prevention and recovery support by providing sober events. It is anticipated that work hours will be divided between daytime and early evening, with some limited weekend hours in support of specific events.

$60.00 per hour

Office duties conducted within a professional office setting with the need to access campus buildings with stairs and complete campus errands. Regular computer keyboard use. Some light to medium lifting (10-40 lb.) may be required.
