Job Summary
To provide instructional design and development consultation related to courses, modules, and whole curriculum activities and faculty development to facilitate change to a student-centered model for teaching and learning.

Knowledge and skills in instructional design theory, principles, and practices
Skills and abilities in a wide array of learning technologies
Project management skills
Attention to detail
Extremely well-organized
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and publishing)
Strong interpersonal skills
Sufficient generalist knowledge to be able to serve numerous content areas easily and adeptly
Understanding of basic production and implementation of media elements such as graphics, sound, and video
Experience making decisions and assisting others to come to decision
Experience related to clarifying confusing topic to the point that change can be initiated
Professionalism necessary to operate easily in a higher education environment
Master’s degree in Instructional Design or a related field
Minimum two years’ experience in instructional design or any related occupation.
