The Cardiometabolic Care Sales Team is at the forefront of US sales efforts for Novo Nordisk’s robust cardiometabolic product portfolio, which includes world-class therapies for treating multi-morbid conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and the reduction of major adverse cardiovascular events. The Position
Influential first-line People Leader within a Region, with District Manager responsibility. Effectively and successfully grows and develops the people and the business, while consistently executing strategy and delivering exceptional results. Future looking leader with superior ability to lead through change.
The territory coverage area for this role is Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.
Relationships
Reports to the Executive Director, Cardiometabolic. Manages a district sales force and has direct supervisory responsibility for field sales representatives. Works closely with the Regional Business Director, peer managers, and other internal stakeholders. External relationships include health care professionals, key opinion leaders, key accounts, and associations.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
20%-30% overnight travel required. Driver must maintain a valid driver’s license. Must be in good standing by not exceeding the Novo Nordisk points threshold assigned based on review of Motor Vehicle Records.
Development of People
Supervisory, ensure that reporting personnel have Individual Development Plans (IDP), with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business, and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities, and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process. Ensure that the IDP forms include completed learning and aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility. Manage the application and communication of all Novo Nordisk policies, procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way.
Qualifications
The base compensation range for this position is $121,050 to $259,510 Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. In addition, this position is part of the sales incentive compensation program. The role may also be eligible for a long-term incentive bonus depending on level and other Company factors. The position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program.
