Provide oversight for the asset care program related to equipment, systems, and utilities to ensure reliable operation, appropriate levels of maintenance and minimal downtime. In addition, this role is the site business champion for the global Lean Digital Core (LDC) project with oversight for the implementation of new CMMS and Engineering e-Qualification technologies and processes.
Hours: Monday – Friday, normal business hours.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• LDC- Morris Plains business contact to represent site interests to global process owners.
• LDC- Site representative and main contact for calibration, PMs, asset lifecycle and CMMS to global process owners (post LDC).
• LDC- Represents Morris Plains in global community of best practices for calibration, PMs, and CMMS (post LDC).
• Monthly review of work orders to ensure PM/calibration work is completed on time.
• Develop, execute, and report statistical data, metrics and KPI’s (local & Global) to ensure that work is completed in a timely and compliant manner.
• Lead the overall asset (equipment) care strategy for the site through the core equipment sup- port functions (Equipment Experts, Facility Engineers, Automation Engineers).
• Lead reliability life cycle management of equipment, including design (new equipment), sensor risk assessments (SRA’s), operation and maintenance. This includes identifying and implementing of site and global engineering best practice.
• Monitor asset reliability statistics based on work order success and failure to determine if any corrective or preventative actions are needed to improve asset reliability.
• Review all failed work to determine if a deviation is required and ensure deviations are initiated in a timely manner.
• As CMMS system administrator manage the front-end administration of the system including user access management, configuration changes, and deployment of software upgrades.
• Analyze equipment failures, trends and implement appropriate CAPA actions to address.
• Implement optimal levels of maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Management of site CMMS system–Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Management (BMRAM)
• Maintain appropriate levels of spare and repair parts for all critical equipment utilizing BMRAM inventory.
• Purchase and track all parts required for planned maintenance and critical spare parts for on demand maintenance events.
• Participate in maintenance planning activities to minimize disruption to production and coordinate scheduled activities with E&F and Equipment Owners
• Ensure that all (internal, regulatory and statutory) QA, HSE and NTO relevant guidelines, directives and processes are adhered to.
• Support internal and external auditing activities.
• Support team on various activities (write SOPs, deviations, etc.) when required.
• Serve as subject matter expert on deviations and projects when required.What you’ll bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or related field
• 8+ years in an Engineering organization
• 5+ years’ experience in a GMP regulated environment (pharmaceutical preferable)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction Able to manage competing priorities
• Must be able to work well with others in a team environment. Strong computer skills, including knowledge of SAP, BMRAM (or other CMMS system), Power Bi, and Excel.
• Ability to interact with a variety of organizational levels and foster cross-functional and cross-cultural teamwork
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $118,400 and $177,600/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
