Job Purpose
The Strategic Project Leader ensures PS&A Portfolio Systems delivers on strategic initiatives to meet priority business needs
Major Accountabilities
• Maintain deep expertise and understanding of the portfolio system architecture from a business, data, and technical standpoint, and provide strategic guidance and context to enable the development of a comprehensive strategic roadmap
• Leads and drives the delivery of strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and customer groups by performing a systematic analysis of high-priority business use cases and documenting detailed business requirements including expected outcomes and decisions
• Designs solutions that optimally integrate streamlined business processes with existing & new system capabilities – ensuring high adoption and customer satisfaction
• Develop, manage, and align implementation and testing plans in collaboration with the teams responsible for implementing the solution. Oversee the implementation and testing of new system capabilities
• Responsible for developing go-live communications and training end users on new system capabilities
• Supports the development of a change management plan to transition business process changes and new system capabilities to operations
This is a site based role out of Cambridge, MA.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $151,200 and $226,800 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Role Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate degree in business (MBA/System design) preferable
Work Experience
• At minimum 7+ years of professional experience in industry with at least 5+ years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Deep understanding of the drug discovery and development process
• Solid cross-functional matrix leadership experience with demonstrated ability to establish strong partnerships without formal authority. Previous direct and/or matrix people management experience with demonstrated ability to successfully influence without authority
• In-depth multi-/cross-functional team experience in project management and past experience of successfully leading teams to deliver enterprise-wide system capabilities
• Inspiring leader capable of fostering a sense of purpose and belonging without formal authority with expertize in facilitating/optimizing the contribution of diverse members as individuals and as a team
• Expertize in business and system analysis with ability to convert complex business use cases into simplified business and system capabilities. Strong analytical thinker and problem-solver, with excellent coaching skills and strong organizational skills and process orientation mindset
Languages
• Fluency in English required. Effective and persuasive communicator with strong presentation, communication (both written and verbal), influencing, negotiation and information management skills
