The Facilities Mechanic is responsible for overall site maintenance and repairs following all cGMPs and all site safety regulations. Responsible to keep GMP Manufacturing site in a regulatory and safety audit ready state.
2nd shift: Must have flexibility for Overtime based on business needs
What you’ll bring to the role:
• Oversees mechanical service calls and in house repairs throughout facility and grounds, and determines necessary repair work.
• Monitors work in one or more maintenance trades including electrical, HVAC, refrigeration plumbing and routine equipment repair including kitchen equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot -20 degree, 2-10 degree and -75 degree refrigeration units.
• Acts as the interdepartmental liaison between the calibration team and the supported groups, coordinating scheduling issues, resolving calibration-related problems, and providing technical support, as required to all groups internal/external.
• Ensure the safety of the staff and facility is a primary responsibility and adheres to all HS&E procedures.
• Keeps track of the all safety equipment in the facility and reports any issues in the systems to the facility manager.
• Monitors and operates the Building Maintenance System (BMS).
• Responsible for timely execution and compliance for related PMs; supports department work order system program.
• Ability to lead small projects to completion.
• Works on assignments that are extremely complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may pro-vide guidance and oversee the activities of other support personnel.
This role is a 2nd shift position. This role is 4 days a week for 10 hours. The days of the shift rotate every 4 months.Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:

Role Requirements
2nd shift: Must have flexibility for overtime based on business needs
• HS Diploma, GED is required
• Technical Trade school graduate or 4 years of relevant mechanic experience is required
• CFC universal license is required or the ability to obtain licensure within one year
• Low pressure black seal required or the ability to obtain licensure within one year
Desirable:
• Strong background in HVAC/ Refrigeration repair is preferred
• Chiller and DX rooftop units experience is preferred
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $66,000 and $99,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
