BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse/Inventory Team, Fleet Recruiting Team, Wardrobe Supervisors, Shipping/ Receiving/Logistics Departments, Wardrobe Maintenance and Cosmetologist Team. Role will oversee Costuming Department Operational Teams to ensure they are meeting budgets and timelines set by upper management on all aspects of their operations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all Ariba, Recall, People Soft processes to ensure timely processing of invoice for labor, expenses, and materials purchases.
Maintain checkbooks and GL accounts for all costuming operational accounts. Report any issues of incorrect coding, charges that are not the department and missed project codes to Finance.
Ensure all processes for Warehouse and Inventory departments are being followed and that their consumable stocks are maintaining par levels. Inventory system is up to date on cataloging of all assets into the system with coding and assigned values.
Oversee Logistic Team on store dates, shipping timeline to meet delivery needs to and from ships and to stay within Air Freight and Ground Freight budgets.
Approve yearly travel request and budgets for all Corporate and Contract Employees following company guideline and policies.
Oversee the yearly International Recruiting Program with the Manager of Fleet Recruiting to ensure viable programs, costuming internet sites, job recruitment sites are part of the program to search out professional skilled people for Creative Costuming positions in a timely manner.
Manage partnership of Purchasing Team and Shipping/Receiving to ensure invoices and product are received/ tracked following guideline and company policies in a timely manner.
Attend all meetings pertaining to operations and department timeline and processes affect the costuming operations.
Ensure all housing, travel and contracts are being process in a timely manner following department SOP.
Manage issues and concerns from rehearsal reports, stage management reports and Wardrobe reports to communicate needs in a timely and professional manner.
Oversee Cosmetology departments fitting schedules, executions of product, and delivery of all products in a timely professional manner.
Ensure all operational departments are adhering to safety and operational protocol, working in a clean, organize professional atmosphere.
Acts as liaison with all other departments in the Creative Studios to maintain a professional productive relationship.
Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Master’s Degree Theatrical Operations or related Theatrical Management experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of relevant and work-related skills and experience.
EXPERIENCE: Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years’ experience managing operations for a Professional Theatrical Entertainment Company. Candidates related experience and/or educational experience with supervisory or management experience will also be considered.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL: Knowledge of and broad experience of Theatrical Operations Required. Demonstrated experience in management. Knowledge of safety standards and the implementation of same. Excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point. Applied skills in Wardrobe Operations, Shipping/Receiving/Logistics, Inventory Systems, Warehouse Management and Cosmetology.
