Job Summary:
The Social Environment and Health Lab in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University – Chicago Campus is looking for a detail-oriented individual for a Research Study Coordinator position. Our lab’s mission is to understand the ways in which the physical environments, social interactions, and structural and cultural factors that shape our daily lives influence our health and contribute to health inequities. The Research Study Coordinator will primarily coordinate projects that measure how people respond to stressful experiences in their everyday lives and how that influences their health. This position will also assist with a maternal health equity research project that seeks to explore how stress reactivity impacts pregnancy outcomes. Please note: This job will involve some travel for data collection at community sites across Chicago. There may also be times when this job requires weekend or evening work to accommodate study participants’ schedules.
