We are a locally based growing pet wholesale distribution company seeking a positive, cheerful, hard-working, and dedicated employee to join our team. We have been in business for over 22 years and have grown steadily every year. We have a very friendly, positive, casual, but professional office environment. We are currently looking for a part-time/full-time, experienced Account Specialist to service our biggest pet store client which has 1000+ stores across the US. This job is flexible and can be either part-time (4 days per week) or full-time. There is an opportunity for advancement for the right person. Come grow with us!

Primary duties include:

Overseeing all administrative aspects related to our largest client which includes

• Downloading electronic purchase orders and converting them to invoices
• Processing hundreds of UPS labels per week
• Adding freight and other charges to invoices
• Submitting invoices for payment
• Posting payments
• Communicating with the client about order changes, cancellations, special requests
• Researching and solving any invoice discrepancies
• Working as a backup to customer service as needed
• Assisting other office staff on projects and various tasks as needed

Experience required:

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Word
• Expert at 10 key data entries
• Must be VERY detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent written communication skills
• Familiarity with Quickbooks is a plus
• Previous AR/AP experience is a plus

The schedule is either part-time (4 days per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) or full-time (M-F). The postion is available to start the week of January 30.

Pay is $22.00 per hour to $24 per hour DOE. We offer merit raises, yearly bonuses, 6 paid holidays as well as paid time off after 6 months of working. 7 days of PTO first 2 years increasing to 10 days PTO after 2 years.
