Effective communication with colleagues, physicians, and patients. Ability to resolve problems and answer herbal information questions for which no clear policy or guidelines exist. Set direction and clear expectations of others. Certain areas of practice require prior experience or training (e.g. oncology).Must attend continuing education programs, approved by directory of pharmacy.

What you will do:

• contribute to purchasing cost reductions
• Actively tries to reduce costs
• Contribute ideas to enhance revenue in the herbal shoppe and help implement
• Knowledge and demonstration of NorthShore customer service standards.
• Knowledge of federal state and local laws that apply to job’s area of responsibility.
• Knowledge of NorthShore policies and procedures and apply them to the position of Herbal Shoppe vitamin specialist
• Ongoing growth and development from participation in events such as workshops, in-service programs and departmental meetings.
