Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Services organization is seeking a dynamic, innovative Classified IT Operations Manager in our Baltimore, MD (BWI) location. This motivated individual will be responsible for overseeing classified IT operations, including Cybersecurity for multiple programs within the Airborne Multifunction Sensors and Maritime/Land Systems and Sensors Divisions.
This person will act as the single point of contact between the classified support team (Enterprise Services) and the program. This candidate will also oversee and manage information system solution concept development (proposal phase). Additionally, the candidate will lead the design, development, integration/test and support of information systems and security (post award). This includes managing the priorities and day-to-day activities for System Administrator and ISSO resources.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Overall technical quality and performance, budget, and schedule for IT/Cybersecurity content on the program, ensuring the program is adhering to sound technical processes in IT/Cybersecurity in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Additionally, the applicant will lead non-recurring and recurring support activities across multiple programs
Coordinate with program leadership, homeroom managers, and end user groups to identify, plan, implement, and sustain IT/Cybersecurity solutions to meet program strategic and tactical objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of IT experience; or a Master’s degree and 7 years of IT experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with a wide range of users ranging from very technical to non-technical.
Customer satisfaction and continuous improvement experience
Proven IT project management experience and demonstrated leadership skills, including planning, scheduling, workload forecasting and proposal development.
Must have at least an active or current DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or a master’s degree, in Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or Network Engineering (or similar STEM related discipline) is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Project Manager with knowledge in cost, budgets, and schedules
Familiarity with the Mission Systems business, government customers, and programs is a plus.
Previous Enterprise Services Program Manager experience.
Experience with Agile based practices and Lean Six Sigma methodology.
Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts, processes, and tools.
Results-oriented team player, with the ability to handle a rapidly changing set of projects and priorities while maintaining a strong professional presence.
Customer-focused with proven leadership and excellent communication skills with ability to drive cross functional teams to action when working in a matrix organization.
Self-starter who works quickly and effectively, can get up to speed with program processes quickly and enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment.
