Job Description:
POSITION: Full-Time Executive Director of the Center for Adult Education: Director; Center for Adult Education; Lawrence Campus (420 Common St); 37.5 hours/week, Non-Unit Professional Position
SUMMARY: The Executive Director (ED) serves as a member of the senior leadership team within the Center for Adult Education (CAE), reporting to the Vice President of Lawrence Campus and Community Relations. The ED is responsible for overseeing the effective project planning, financial and grant management, and administration of adult education initiatives, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and promoting all duties and operations for educational programming within the CAE, including Essex County Corrections, to ensure effective planning, management, and administration of adult basic education initiatives. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, managerial, project management, financial and collaborative skills, and develop and implement long-term strategies to achieve the Center’s mission and goals. The Director of Essex County Sheriff’s Corrections Educational Programs will report directly to the Executive Director.

Additional Information:
SALARY: Anticipated starting salary range is $105,000 – $115,000 annually with complete fringe benefit package including competitive health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, long-term disability insurance, paid sick, vacation and personal leave, educational benefits for employee/spouse/dependents, and excellent retirement benefits.
