JOB SUMMARY
This
position
performs specialized duties in support of the maintenance of student
records.
MAJOR
DUTIES
Evaluates admission applications; examines transcripts, test scores, and documents for potential
students.
Posts and maintains student academic information.
Answers telephone and greets visitors; provides information and
assistance; refers to appropriate personnel.
Scans documents.
Notifies students of admission status and of missing
documents.
Maintains admission hold on student records.
Prepares specialized reports.
Maintains the admissions procedure
manual.
Downloads and prints transcripts.
Downloads electronic applications and disburses to appropriate campus.
Evaluates and
processes transfer credit for approval; evaluates academic transcripts and records.
Performs related duties as
assigned.

Skill in the operation
of computers and job related software programs.

COMPLEXITY/SCOPE OF
WORK
The work consists of related specialized duties. Frequent interruptions contribute to the complexity of the
position.
The purpose of this position is to provide specialized support for the maintenance of student records. Success in this position
contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of office
operations.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and level of competency
commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a
high school education.
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually
associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two
years.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS
Three years related work
experience
preferred.
Annual salary $29,916.00 with excellent benefits, including generous leave time.
