Staff Associate (Business Development Specialist)

This position is funded
through a Federal Grant and may require some evening and weekend hours.
The Business Development Specialist (BDS) is
focused on developing and maintaining connections with area businesses and employers in order to open up educational opportunities for
potential NSCC students within these organizations while they continue their employment. This position works closely with the Executive
Director of Admissions and Enrollment as well as other key College stakeholders in order to enhance and develop the connections that the
College has with area employers in order to help their employees obtain a college degree. This position will build a working partnership
with NSCC’s Non-Credit component to leverage existing employer relationships and to recruit and promote both Non-Credit and Credit programs
to employers and potential students.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
RECEIVED: This position reports to and is supervised by the Executive Director of Admissions and Enrollment

COVID VACCINATION REQUIREMENT:Candidates for employment should be aware that all

SALARY: Anticipated salary range is $62,500 to $65,000 annually with a complete fringe benefit package
including competitive health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, long-term disability insurance, paid sick, vacation and
personal leave, educational benefits for employee/spouse/dependents, and excellent retirement benefits. Actual salary calculated in
compliance with MCCC/MTA classification system.
