Position Description & Details
The NDSU Office of Admission is seeking an organized, energetic, creative and collaborative team member to serve as Communications Coordinator to manage print and electronic communications that convey NDSU’s key messages and focus on recruiting and yielding incoming students. This position will maintain collaborative partnerships with University Relations/Publication Services as well as the Office of Admission recruitment team. The communications coordinator is responsible for knowing the university’s brand and web standards and ensuring all branding and marketing standards are met and followed.
Primary responsibilities include:

Advertised Salary – $54,000+
Minimum Qualifications
Completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Related experience creating and managing written marketing content
Editing and proofreading experience
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with consistent accuracy, follow through, and timely completion of projects
Keen attention for detail
Demonstrated ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment
Innovative, energetic, and committed to working in a collaborative team environment
Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in the student body
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Strong customer service experience/skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Salesforce or TargetX CRM
Experience with Adobe Illustrator or other Creative Suite programs
Work experience in recruitment and admission at a regionally accredited college or university
Experience building email templates and campaigns using HTML
Expertise updating and maintaining web content
