Role Description:
-Part time Registered Nurse ( One weekday, one weeknight on call and one to two weekends on call per month.
) -Starting wage of $45/hour with the opportunity for additional income -Limited and flexible on-call hours Responsibilities/Expectations:
-Preparing, reviewing, and revising care plans -Medication preparation, supervision, and administration -Orientation, training, delegation, and supervision of new and existing caregivers -Triaging/responding to client concerns -Provision of direct nursing care to clients -Development, review, and updating of clients’ electronic and home charts -Communicating/collaborating with clients’ support systems, family and friends -Communicating/collaborating with hospice, home health services, OT, PT, ST, and providers -Communicating/collaborating with scheduling regarding client care plan needs -Triaging intake calls -Conducting in-home intake evaluations -Planning and executing start and end of care -Participation in Quality & Safety Committee
Qualifications:
-Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
-Active and current unencumbered RN licensure with the Oregon State Board of Nursing -One or more years of verifiable experience in the field of nursing.
-Able to provide independent transportation to and from client’s homes as well as proof of an unencumbered Oregon Driver’s License and active vehicle insurance.
-Interpersonal skills necessary to work productively with all levels of agency personnel, as well as physicians, clients, families, visitors and to manage the activities of a diverse group of professional, non-professional and clerical employees.
-Possesses active listening skills with the ability to identify opportunities for self and team improvements as well as positive attitude toward feedback and problem resolution.
-Planning skills to develop goals and objectives in concert with those of No Worries Corporation and implements timely and effective action plans to meet those goals.
-Computer literacy with the ability to use basic functions of Word, Excel, Outlook e-mail, and to learn additional charting and scheduling applications.
-Able to stand, sit, stoop, bend and lift 20lbs without restriction.
