Position Summary
This position maintains a cross-organizational partnership to enable delivery of value-added service to management and employees. Talent acquisition is this position’s primary responsibility. The position will also provide support for the administration of employee benefits, employee leaves, performance management, compliance, and various other departmental administrative tasks.
Recruiting Job Duties:
· Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
· Partner with department managers to gain an accurate understanding of position requirements.
· Provide training and guidance to hiring managers about interview techniques and regulatory issues.
· Identify qualified active/passive candidates for a variety of open positions using job boards, social media, and networking events. Ensure candidate pools are diverse.
· Assess candidates’ skillsets through virtual preliminary interviews and formal face-to-face interviews.
· Initiate and track background checks.
Generalist Job Duties
· Maintain employee records.
· Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
· Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
· Assist with employee leaves across multiple states with various rules and requirements.
· Assist with the preparation of performance reviews and track progress.
· Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
· Runs monthly reports
· Assist with the annual open enrollment and benefits renewal processes
· Prepares and distributes letters, communications, and announcements
· Explore ways to help the HR function operate more successfully by automating manual processes and minimizing tactical efforts, ultimately allowing the HR team more time to act as strategic business partners.
· Make recommendations to help improve the organization’s capability through the alignment of strategy, structure, people, rewards, metrics, and management processes.
· Ensure confidentiality of all employee and company information.
