The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the functions of the local human resources department including compliance, recruitment, compensation, employee relations, performance management, affirmative action, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Develop and executes tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals as well as fill pipelines to account for possible turnover
- Develop meaningful and actionable workforce plans to proactively identify issues in the areas of turnover, diversity, absenteeism, and performance management
- Generate metrics to drive workforce decisions, forecasting capabilities and strategic insights
- Collaborates with leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
- Responsible for employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and recommend appropriate corrective actions in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as company policy.
- Oversee the development and execution of plant’s Affirmative Action plan. Work to ensure AAP goals are achieved during employment lifecycle in compliance with OFCCP regulations.
- Responsible for the administration of policies and procedures established by the company and human resources.
- Ensures all policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with federal and state laws
- Support plant management business goals and ensure alignment with HR programs, practices, and policies
- Oversee development of careers within the plant and the HR team by identifying training needs for the plant, function, and individual performance development.
- Manages annual talent planning and performance management process within the plant
- Administers compensation and other reward strategies, systems, and processes to attract, motivate and retain organizational talent
- Analyzes and reports on any specific plant or geographic variances to assure best local practices and market competitiveness
- Build and implement strategy for hiring and placement of candidates across sourcing channels, including setting goals and timelines, and analyzing metrics
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong level of influence and negotiation skills
- Bi-lingual English / Spanish
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suit
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce a plus
- Strong project management experience
- Strong knowledge of local employment and labor law
- Attention to detail to deliver strong service to internal and external customers
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from an accredited college/university in Human Resources, Business Management, or related degree
- 5-7 years Human Resources of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment
- PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred
