Job Summary:

The IT Analyst will work with RxAdvance’s IT Infrastructure and Security team to support the improvement of the information technology security policies, programming, design, implementation, and deployment of Cisco routers and Switch networks. This individual will perform moderately complex tasks relating to network monitoring, operations, installation, and/or maintenance.

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Provide technical support for RxAdvance LANs/WANs/WLANs.
• Follow documented network, change, and operational processes and procedures. Update documentation as needed.
• Troubleshoot network problems and recommend corrective procedures.
• Support the implementation of complex network architectures.
• Install network equipment and software components including monitoring and system performance tools.
• Help create network disaster recovery test plans.
• Help select and implement tools for managing the network environment.
• Interact effectively with IT application groups in order to recommend the most effective and productive network protocol configurations.
• Develop strategies for performance tuning and capacity planning for the existing network.
• Periodically review Network documentation to ensure both accuracy and completeness.
• Upgrade network hardware and software components as required.
• Maintain network services documentation related to work area.

Education and/or Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar fields required.
• Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar fields preferred.

Professional Experience:

• 1 – 3 years of experience in the configuration, implementation, installation, support and maintenance of Cisco Nexus product line of routers and switches.
• 1 – 3 years of experience and knowledge of enterprise WAN large-scale networks.
• Experience with network system management and monitoring tools

Specialized Skills:

• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitask.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with routing (ipv4), ethernet switching, wireless, load balancers, firewalls, WAN acceleration and VPN technologies.
• Expertise with Cisco routers, ASR, Nexus 5k switches, HP switches, CISCO, F5 load balancers.
• Required Protocols: IPv4, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, IEEE 802.1 and 802.3 standards, VPN, SNMP, DNS, Virtual Port Channels, OTV/LISP 10 years of global network engineering and operations
• Strong PC skills; MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
