TASTING ROOM ASSOCIATE – WEEKENDS IN THE WINERY!

Hello! Our tasting room in Aptos is growing and we are looking for a permanent part-time associate to join our weekend team. Responsibilities are customer service centric; wine service, sales, club sales & additional support to the operations of the tasting room.

Permanent Part Time Position- Weekends

Responsibilities:
* Provide a positive and hospitable customer experience
* Table side wine service
* Discuss menus and experiences
* Sell and package wine/products
* Discuss and sell wine club memberships
* Assemble and serve food items and olive oil tastings
* Assist with stocking wine, merchandise and packing of club orders
* Understand and utilize the tasting room POS & reservation systems
* Answer questions about winery’s origin, wine making, olives, and wines

Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work with others in a quick paced and evolving environment
* 2 years of experience working in a winery, restaurant or hospitality industry
* High School degree required
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Available for weekend shifts (minimum 3 weekends per month)
* Passion and interest for the wine industry
* Able to climb, walk and move materials of at least 45 lbs
* Must have reliable transportation

Compensation:
$19/hr to start with a 60 day probation period
