New Leaf Preschool, formerly Little Sprouts Academy, is a Montessori and Nature-Based early childhood private school in Howard for Toddlers- 4K Primary Students. This school serves as an introduction to education at our K-8 Charter school, New Leaf Prep Academy. We offer school year programs, before and after school care and summer camp programming. We were established in 2018 and are growing rapidly due to our unique, education, and individualized approach to Early Childhood Education! We are looking to hire 2 passionate, energetic and nurturing teachers for our Infant & Toddler classrooms!

Teachers will be responsible for assisting with weekly lesson plans, communicating with parents and providing care and education to children through Montessori and nature-inspired teaching methods. We are searching for a lead or assistant teacher in our 3-year-old Emergent Primary. Hours would fall between 6:30am and 5:00pm Monday-Friday.

Preferred Education & Experience:

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field

Education listed above in progress for Assistant Teachers

Experience in Early Childhood Education or Childcare

Experience teaching through the Montessori Method (Preferred)

Compensation depends largely on qualifications:

Competitive compensation for lead teachers $17.00 to $19.00 per hour

Part time or assistant teacher opportunities from $11.00 to $17.00 per hour
