Job DescriptionDirector of Information Technology
Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the IT Director assumes responsibility for overseeing the entire technology department,
encompassing Infrastructure, Help Desk, and Enterprise Applications. Key areas of focus include budgetary management, project oversight, and
supervision of staff-related matters, spanning performance evaluations to professional development. Serving as the primary liaison between
department heads and the institution’s IT function, the Director is tasked with developing the IT Service Management (ITSM) program,
including service design, delivery, and portfolio development.
Additionally, this role is responsible for supervising Instructional
Support. This group helps marry faculty requirements and best practices with technology. The three core functions of this group are
providing technical support, assessing, and implementing new solutions, and building training guides and materials to onboard
technology.
