Position Summary:
The Recruiter will partner with several client groups within the hospital by performing full cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions. Recruits, screens, interviews, and refers qualified candidates that best suit job vacancies. Communicates effectively with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Coordinates the completion and collection of all required employment documentation.
Duties and Essential Functions:
1. Establishes recruiting priorities and resources for assigned client groups.
2. Conducts screening interviews and recommends job candidates to department managers based on candidate qualifications and departmental needs and requirements. Regularly communicates with managers throughout hiring process.
3. Obtains references and makes job offers to candidates based on established wage and salary policies.
4. Assures that all necessary documentation is received and processed for new hires.
5. Responds to inquiries from job candidates and new hires regarding NEBH policies, benefits, and other policies and programs using appropriate resources.
6. Develop a continuous pipeline of candidates.
7. Conducts exit interviews; tracks information and creates quarterly reports summarizing termination and turnover reasons and activities.
8. Develops and maintains relationships and pipeline programs with local colleges/universities.
9. Coordinates and participates in local job fairs.
10. Assist recruiting team with additional recruitment efforts as requested.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of recruitment experience and experience within a healthcare environment required.
Excellent organizational and written and oral communication skills required.
Well versed with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday experience preferred).
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.
Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office, with a focus on Outlook and Excel.
