Position Summary: The Global Consolidations Director leads the global monthly close cycle to ensure a successful and accurate closing of the books for both internal and external financial statements. This person coordinates with regional teams around the world to help solve any issues in reporting and intercompany balances, oversees global allocations and correcting entries, and directly leads a team of accountants to consolidate the financial books. Key Areas of Responsibility: + Direct management of consolidations team members including providing relevant training, access to career opportunities, and supporting growth through feedback and reviews + Schedule, coordinate, and execute the global close to ensure an on-time and accurate completion of the monthly internal and external financials + Prepare the monthly internal management reporting package for the CFO and other finance leadership team members + Review and approve recurring and adjusting journal entries + Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations + Ensure that periodic government/census reports are accurately completed and timely filed + Coordinate with regional teams to solve accounting issues and classification questions + Maintain overall ownership of the company’s chart of accounts hierarchy and mapping to the external financials + Manage the overall creation of the cash flow statement for the company’s 10-Q and 10-K filings + Manage and review the global balance sheet fluctuation review process + Serve as primary point of contact for global results questions from FP&A teams + Ensure ongoing satisfactory performance of all relevant SOX controls + Assist external and internal auditors with audit inquiries and testing + Prepare ad-hoc requests and participate in other projects as needed Basic Qualifications: + Master’s Degree in Accounting + Active CPA license + 5-7 years of related corporate accounting experience in a large multinational company + Experience in US GAAP accounting and reporting + Microsoft Excel advanced user + Ability to use a variety of software programs and tools to analyze and work with large data sets and accomplish tasks efficiently + Strong analytical skills, ability to research issues in a complex accounting structure to resolve problems; detail-oriented, yet able to identify issues and grasp concepts at broader level + Must be a highly motivated individual with the ability to multi-task while working with a variety of individuals in both team and self-directed environments + Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of management + Ability to work within defined time constraints and within deadlines during month end financial close while driving longer-term projects to successful completion Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with international consolidation accounting + Previous interaction/ presentations with senior management + Big 4 public audit experience + Prior experience with Oracle Cloud and Smartview tools Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.
