About the Department:
The Automated Workload Services (AWS) team resides in the Shared Services Department of the Office of Information Technology (OIT). As an integral part of OIT, the team performs essential functions of the university throughout the year even under adverse weather and other emergency conditions.
This team is responsible for the management of large volumes of critical processing around the clock according to varying university business cycles. The system processes supported by AWS include Bi-Weekly, Monthly, and Supplemental Payrolls; Registration & Records, Campus Community, and Financial Aid in PeopleSoft Student Systems; Benefits and Distribution in Human Capital Management; Financial AP Pay-cycle, Capital Pay-cycle, Purchase Card, and Reconciliation processing in Financial Systems; and many more.
The team is also responsible for the development and maintenance of software packages such as IBM Workload Scheduler for job scheduling, IBM B2B Integrator for EDI processing, and OnBase for report management.
Essential Job Duties:
The IT Integration and Solutions Professional I is responsible for supporting services of IBM Workload Scheduler, IBM B2B Integrator, OnBase document design, archive, and distribution software, and assisting in pay-cycle processing. This position is the primary backup in processing Bi-Weekly, Monthly, and Supplemental Payroll processes in PeopleSoft, printing checks, and assisting in yearly W2 printing.
As a critical part of university functioning, this position is designated as mandatory under adverse weather and other emergency event conditions such as a pandemic and will be required to report to work onsite to carry out essential functions when necessary.
This position will be responsible for systems administration tasks, application configuration and support, direct end-user requirement analysis, troubleshooting, solutions design, software patches scheduling, testing, and leading upgrade efforts.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; or
an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
