Native Seed Hiring for Accounts Payable Specialist at Lehi Full Time

The Accounts Payable Specialist, in collaboration with the Divisional Controller will handle the Accounts Payable process for multiple company locations. This position is fast paced, handles a high volume, and very diverse transactions for multiple company locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, coding and processing vendor invoices for S&S Seeds CA, Hedgerow, Pacific Coast, S&S Seeds OR and Kamprath
• Maintain Vendor setups and backup files
• Develop vendor relations to pay timely within terms and discounts.
• Obtain timely approvals from Managers and appropriate backup
• Prepare weekly Aging of vendor bills for review by the Divisional Controller or CFO
• Process weekly check runs for all sites (except Star Seed & Arrow)
• Verify discrepancies and resolve vendor billing issues
• Maintain digital copies of all vendor invoices and attach copies in Intacct

Experience / Education and Skills Required:

• 5 years minimum of proven working experience in Accounts Payable that includes three way match, purchase orders, inventory with a variety of payment methods.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles using Chart of Accounts for coding
• Experience using Accounting software including Sage Intacct
• Proficiency in Excel using basic formulas, Word and Outlook
• Customer service orientation for resolving Vendor issues
• High degree of organization, accuracy and attention to detail
• AA Degree in Accounting related field or related experience
• Accounts payable: 5 years (Required)
