Position Summary
The School of Technology & Engineering invites applications for a full-time faculty (open
rank) in Computer Science. The successful candidate will demonstrate both a strong record in teaching for a diverse student body and the
ability to support the department’s curriculum.
The Professor will provide intellectual leadership toward the achievement of the
highest possible level of excellence in teaching, scholarship, service, and professional development. The Professor will teach courses
within a programmatic core discipline as assigned by engaging students, offering excellent feedback, and inspiring students to achieve
course and program outcomes relevant to the core discipline. This position works closely with other faculty within the discipline including
the Course Lead, Academic Program Director, Assistant Dean and Dean by contributing to programmatic strategies that ensure program quality,
student engagement and success.
We are looking for someone with experience serving on dissertation committees since that will
comprise a significant part of their instruction.

Deadline: Applications will be
reviewed on a rolling basis starting in January 2024. The position will remain posted until filled with a preference for the selected
candidate to start in Spring 2024.
Location: The role can be based at our San Diego, California campus or performed remotely.
However, candidates in the San Diego area are expected to teach both online and onsite.
Travel: Travel required as necessary,
may include quarterly college/school meetings, commencement, and conferences.

Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $74,005.00 – $130,340.00
Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s
qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this
