Mytech’s Sales Manager
What we seek from you: Work autonomously, lead your team of sales professionals, deliver short and long-term sales goals, guide your colleagues and our clients alike though complicated solution sales processes.
What you can expect from us: We will help you by ensuring your staff are knowledgeable, networked, A-Players, disciplined believers in sales process and accomplished at communicating with business leaders and C-Suite types. We will provide qualified leads, companion to you, as Manager, driving results/

1. What about Compensation?
$80k -130k, premium health insurance, we match 401k contributions, lots of PTO. Seriously, a lot of PTO!
2. What about Mytech?
We are an MSP (Managed Service Provider). We consult, design, install and maintain technology infrastructure and adjacent solutions like email, hybrid collaboration systems like Microsoft Teams, cyber security solutions, etc. Our clients see us as an extension of their business, and thus we focus on building unique relationships, providing each of them vision and strategy for their technological needs.
3. What about You?
You most likely come from technology, and you already have your manager chops. This is a senior role and you bring senior sales team manager experience. If you have done so at an MSP, step right up. Otherwise, you’ve managed sales teams for some neighboring technology-oriented organization like a business equipment provider (copiers??), or software, or some technical app maybe. Also, you have professional tenure. Your resume demonstrates your devotion to sticking around for, most likely, years at a time (mastery takes time).

It means that you believe that you can be an ‘A Player’ in this role, and that you will practice confidence and humility to admit where you need help, improvement and you will seek out the coaching/mentoring/assistance you need to be an ‘A Player’. The consulting team and the entire Mytech organization is looking to you for helping build the M365 practice, improving client adoption and execution of M365 consulting projects and the resulting revenue production which enables all our jobs at Mytech to be secure.

5. What about the Solutions we sell?
Mytech provides complicated business solutions for complicated business problems, accordingly, our Sales Teams lean heavily into solution-based selling. For us, landing (and keeping) new clients often requires months of networking and relationship building followed by our team approach to solution design and deal closure. Sales cycle ranges from a few months to a few years.

This job does require that you commute to, and work, at Mytech’s headquarters in New Brighton, Minnesota.
