CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – PART TIME to FULL TIME

We are a local general contractor, “Mr. Handyman”, seeking a friendly and outgoing Customer Service Representative for our small office located in the Kruse Way area of Lake Oswego.

The CSR will establish positive, professional relationships with our residential and commercial customers. The CSR answers phones, schedules repair and estimate appointments, provides estimates for labor and materials, and effectively understands the customers’ needs. Prompt, friendly and professional responses to all customer inquiries is essential as well as capturing the correct scope of work requested. The CSR works independently, is highly organized and detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment. The CSR will develop positive working relationships with our service technicians, vendors, and other contacts. Industry experience is preferred but not required.

Job duties include:

• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Understand customer needs and capture the scope of job
• Respond to customer inquiries, check email and voice mail, and promptly return calls
• Coordinate, communicate and review jobs with service technicians
• Make appointment confirmation and follow up calls
• Monitor receivables and payables
• Monitor social media and lead source systems
• Assist owner and team as needed
• Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of customer service experience
• Ability to multi-task and proactive in problem solving
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to type 55 wpm and general office skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Valid drivers license and acceptable record
• Excel in a team environment
• Intermediate Microsoft Office user
