Duties:
Under general supervision, the Departmental Assistant performs varied clerical duties. Position requires knowledge of general office routine and procedures.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some specialized training (educational or vocational); minimum one year clerk-typist or secretarial experience in a general office environment. Proficiency testing required.
Qualifications:
Proficiency testing will include basic Word, basic Excel, alpha filing, and a keyboarding test. Please see special instructions section for proficiency testing information. Testing is required for clerical positions.
