Minnesota Jewish Community Center Hiring for Early Childhood Preschool Teacher, Full Time & Part Time Availability Job at Minneapolis, MN Full Time

At the Minnesota Jewish Community Center we provide quality care and education for the children that we serve. We have openings working in our Early Childhood Center at our St. Louis Park location with various schedules available, including full time M-F 8am-5pm (full benefits) and part time openings. This position will be working with children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years old in our Early Childhood Center. In addition to adding many COVID safety protocols we also provide lower than average classroom ratios and we use a cohort style approach to keep both teachers and students safe (meaning we do not mix age groups).

Essential Functions:

• Provide a high quality care to our children and families in a manner which reflects the mission and values of our organization.
• Challenge each child to reach their potential and guide their activities academically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually
• Create a learning environment where children are engaged and challenged
• Develop and implement age appropriate curriculum
• Complete evaluations and conduct parent-teacher conferences
• Foster relationships with families through daily communication

Qualifications/Requirements:

• College degree or minimum number of credits in Early Childhood Education or an ECE related field, or CDA with a min of 2 years exp.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Positive attitude and dedication to providing exceptional customer service
• Experience developing and implementing age based curriculum
