Within this position, you will manage and coordinate the Minnesota Department of Human Services (Department) contracting process for all Department contracts, including but not limited to professional/technical contracts, grants, income contracts, annual plans and master contracts; to participate in the development of an Annual Contract Plan for the Department; to review all contracts initiated by the Department to ascertain compliance with as to form, execution and Department of Administration and Department policies; to refine and manage contracting data on all Department contracts and contractors; and to integrate with the procedures utilized by the Statewide Integrated Financial Tools (SWIFT) system utilized by the State for contract-execution. The integration and continuous monitoring of these procedures assures the successful procurement of numerous professional/technical and grant services for the Department.
Minimum Qualifications
Position requires a minimum of two (2) years of professional accounting, financial analysis, contracts coordination, and/or budgeting and reporting experience.
Experience must include:
Bachelor’s degree in related field may substitute for 1 year of professional experience.
OR
Master’s degree in related field may substitute for 2 years of experience.
