Position: Employment Manager, Human Resources Position

Summary: This position is located at the Milliken, Alma Plant, Located in Alma, GA. This position works with the location Human Resource Team in the area of policies, programs and practices that are part of the company’s human resources strategy. The Employment Manager, Human Resources must have strong presentation and communication skills. Be able to move about the plant to perform audits, participate in plant activities, coordinate all education enrollments for associates, work closely with safety processes and any other activities as directed by the Manager, Human Resources.

This position reports directly to the location’s Manager, Human Resources. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a culture of people management excellence

• Consistently administer core Human Resources functions and compliance areas to include: o Company policies and procedures o Benefits program o Salary administration o Safety process o Worker’s compensation o FMLA

• Communicate verbally and in writing, and interact effectively to all production, administrative and management associates as well as corporate Human Resources staff

• Lead the talent acquisition process including developing job descriptions, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates

• Facilitate the Continuous Skills Development Pillar Meetings

• Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader to the Manager, Human Resources, and other management team members, on all location matters (strategic and operational)

• Lead special Human Resource related projects

• Always demonstrate the highest level of confidentiality

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Human Resources (or equivalent experience)

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Attention to accuracy of highly detailed information

• Working knowledge of employment law and benefits administration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP * PHR certification The successful candidate will have strengths in the following:
