Job Description:
Title: Senior Director of Nurse Education

General Summary: Shape the Future of Nursing Education as our Senior Director of Nurse Education! In this pivotal role, you will serve as the administrative leader of our Nursing Programs including our long standing and well respected Associate of Science in Nursing programs, as well as our emerging Practical Nursing Certificate program. You will be overseeing the establishment, maintenance, and enhancement of sound educational practices. Your strategic acumen will be instrumental as you navigate regulatory landscapes and foster strategic partnerships with regulatory authorities, accrediting bodies, and professional nursing associations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe and lawful operation of our Nursing programs, managing budgets, maintaining accreditations, and driving program development through collaboration with faculty, support staff, and the Dean of Health. We’re seeking an equity-minded, creative individual with a positive approach to provide visionary leadership, support our college’s strategic initiatives, and champion student engagement and success. Additional Information:
Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000; actual salary commensurate with academic background and experience. Employees of Middlesex Community College are considered employees of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and receive benefits, which include:
Location: Lowell campus with occasional travel to Bedford as needed
Hours: 37.5 per week, schedule to be determined upon hire. This position will be eligible for a maximum of two days of telework in accordance with the College’s telework policy.
