Job Description:
Microchip Technology has an opportunity for a temporary Recruitment Coordinator at our Fab 4 manufacturing facility in Gresham, OR. We anticipate that this will be a 9-12 month assignment.
This is a high-volume recruiting position that partners with HR and Production in the interview, selection and onboarding of entry level Production Specialists. Their ability to move qualified candidates efficiently from application to offer is critical in meeting Fab 4’s staffing and production goals. Training will be provided to the right candidate!
Essential Functions
- Screen, interview and onboard entry level Production Specialists
- Onboarding duties include preparing and making Production offers within 24 hours of the final interview, scheduling pre-employment screens and background checks, and supporting data entry of new employee files
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of progress in meeting bi-weekly and monthly staffing goals
- Documentation of evaluation and interview process to ensure accurate reporting
- Promote and manage Microchip jobs on online recruiting platforms including Indeed, Facebook, virtual job fairs, etc. in order to maintain a reliable pipeline of qualified candidates
- Participate in on-site and off-site job fairs and other employment events
- Promote and maintain ongoing relationships with community partners
- Participate in the selection process for other technical and non-technical roles
Requirements/Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organization, documentation, and writing skills
- Must be competent in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) as well as managing online recruiting platforms
- Ability to remain consistently professional and maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing/production recruitment experience
- Experience recruiting for technical/engineering positions
- Semiconductor industry experience
