AgeAlive Coordinator
Position Summary
The MSU AgeAlive team seeks a creative and innovative lifelong learner to lead the MSU AgeAlive team as its AgeAlive Coordinator. The AgeAlive Coordinator is responsible for planning, promoting, implementing, and evaluating MSU AgeAlive programs and events. Additionally, the AgeAlive Coordinator will independently or with MSU AgeAlive team members, performs the following duties:
AgeAlive, housed within MSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, was established with a vision for a world in which there is respect, wellbeing throughout the lifespan, and quality of life for all people of all ages and abilities. AgeAlive manages several programs and partnerships including: MSU Senior Ambassador Program, Town and Gown Lecture Series, Annual Research Forum and Ageing-related Research Network, and most recently, hosting an Artist-in-Residence (Zahrah Resh) to promote health and wellbeing through the art of healing paper butterflies. Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which would normally be acquired by completing a Master’s degree in an appropriate field; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in organizational administration or a field closely related to the purpose of the consortium; may require licensure in a field related to the field of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
