Entrepreneurship: The Department of Entrepreneurship in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University invite applications for the Lance and Diane White Assistant Professorship in Entrepreneurship (tenure track) to teach entrepreneurship; maintain an active research program and publish in highly regarded management and entrepreneurship journals; advise students; and provide service to the institution. Appointment begins Spring 2023.
The Department of Entrepreneurship combines strong academic scholarship and rigorous theoretical and empirical research with immersive, practice-based learning opportunities for students in startup and venture capital, social entrepreneurship and impact investing, corporate innovation and technology commercialization, and creativity and entrepreneurial thinking. Required: Ph.D. in entrepreneurship or a closely related field by date of appointment.
Consideration may be given to candidates with a proficiency in empirical research in the field of entrepreneurship; a commitment to excellence in teaching high-quality undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship courses; or the ability and desire to conduct empirical entrepreneurship research for publication in highly-regarded refereed management and/or entrepreneurship journals; with interest and ability to teach courses in entrepreneurship and in their field of research at both the undergraduate and Master’s level.
