2 Part-time Temporary 12 hours ago Full Job Description The Part-time Marketing Coordinator works closely with department leadership to execute marketing strategies designed to expand reach and increase audience/capacity.
Duties & Responsibilities Prepares departmental marketing communications such as e-blasts and flyers Identifies potential promotional opportunities such as event listing outlets, promotional partners and material distribution strategies including social media Serves as a liaison between marketing vendors and consultants with regards to the needs of each department Organizes, maintains and updates ticket buyer databases Engages in community outreach research to build and attract audiences Administers, complies and assesses survey data from audiences gathered for each event Organizes and tracks press coverage for each department Coordinates social media posts, gathers content and posts to event calendars, listservs, etc.
Prepares, displays and distributes promotional materials throughout the organization and onsite Develops and implements plans for distribution of promotional materials and digital information Translates marketing materials from English to Spanish as needed Manages marketing vendor payments and contracts Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field from a regionally accredited institution and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, social media platforms, Microsoft Office, newsletter platforms and Word Press Possess excellent interpersonal, communication skills (oral and written), and team-working skills Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English and Spanish (if required) Ability to promote and maintain effective working relationships with a range of individuals and vendors Excellent attention to customer service Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend assignments Additional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
