Methodist Health System Looking for Cardiac Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner Full Time
Immediate Need for a Cardiac Electrophysiology NP in Dallas, TX
Methodist Medical Group affiliated with Methodist Health System has an exciting new full-time employment opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Nurse Practitioner to support its busy Electrophysiology program. Methodist Medical Group (MMG) is a dynamic, rapidly-growing provider organization providing exceptional medical care in the Dallas metro area. A large multi-specialty group of 300+ providers, MMG is comprised of primary care physicians, medical and surgical specialists, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
The selected candidate will provide both inpatient and outpatient care to patients in partnership with a busy, well-established Electrophysiologist as part of an integrated cardiology group practice. Candidates with previous EP/device experience are preferred. The candidate must be committed to a team approach to patient-centered care and have a genuine interest in Electrophysiology. Additional responsibilities will include diagnostics ordering, pre-op device checks, consultation, patient education and follow-up.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program
- Current license with the Texas Medical Board
- BLS, ACLS certification required
- Previous nursing and/or nurse practitioner experience in cardiac EP & devices
- Comprehensive assessment skills and clinical skills
- Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving abilities
