Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial and governmental reports by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting from four-year college or university or master’s degree in a related field.
Five to ten years of experience, four of which must be in health care finance.
Must have high level of Medicare experience that includes experiences in preparation of Medicare/Medicaid cost reports, accounting and budgeting of patient revenue, Medicare Medicaid regulations and the analysis, modeling and reporting of other third party payers.
Special Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear, may be for extended periods. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Ability to use computer, keyboard, and other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
