Job Description
The mission of the Analytics & Technology Systems QA group is to provide the foundation to identify, explore, and efficiently develop solutions to enhance our quality oversight activities.
Under the direction of the Senior Director, Analytics & Technology Systems of our Research & Development Division QA, serves to play a critical role in supporting innovation/modernization and ensuring that mission is achieved. This role is accountable for supporting and driving change including analytics education/development, process modernization and increasing productivity. A key responsibility will be working collaboratively with both QA business and IT stakeholders across our Research & Development Division.
Position may be remote based.
Primary activities include but are not limited to:
Design and build proof of concept to enable efficient IT development of business solutions
Translate the near-term and long-term needs of our Research & Development Division QA into Analytics technical solutions to enhance oversight capabilities using basic and advanced analytics capabilities (e.g. through coding, using visualization software, data science).
Support roadmap of prioritized use cases and estimation of their business value (e.g. moving from resolving ad-hoc issues to a strategic approach).
Has understanding of Data Science market development to be able to come up/explore new ways of delivering analytics solutions to increase their value/contribution.
Support identification of opportunities (use cases) to adopt innovative technologies (analytics, data science, artificial intelligence, etc.)
Support QA efforts to identify opportunities (through participation in internal & external forums) to utilize advanced analytics (data science, NLP, machine learning).
Assist in raising awareness and furthering education about data science, data analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities (NLP, machine learning) within our Research & Development Division QA.
Liaison between QA business, and IT on analytics projects to ensure alignment on requirements to facilitate project implementation
Liaison with business owners & IT on Analytics projects to develop business requirements, project timelines, aligned business deliverables and support dashboard industrialization.
Collaborate with IT on analytics projects built for our Research & Development Division QA.
Lead development and reporting of all QA Monthly, Quarterly and Ad-Hoc Metrics/Reporting.
Develop and manage monthly and quarterly calendars.
Facilitate QA business stakeholder review.
Publish final deliverables (monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc reports) for senior level leadership.
Education:
BS/BA degree in relevant area
Position Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or technology related industry.
Experience with Analytics and supporting implementation of IT solutions (dashboards, apps, etc.) preferred.
Knowledge in data science and/or data engineering capabilities preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrated experience producing deliverables for senior leadership
Excellent organizational skills with technical expertise
