Position Description :

The Senior Scientist within our company’s Animal Health Formulation Group will be responsible for the development of variety of different dosage forms (oral, topical, injectable, implant, etc.) and related processes across all stages of development.-

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated scientist with an outstanding scientific track-record and passion for pharmaceutical product development. -This individual will use innovative approaches to support both early and late stage development candidates including screening, design, and development of formulations defined by robust drug product compositions and processes.

For late stage projects, the Senior Scientist will use technical knowledge to scale up product and transfer to pilot plant and/or commercial sites. Other responsibilities include statistical experimental design & data analysis, authoring of technical reports, regulatory submissions and patent applications.- Active participation on formulation development teams while interfacing with other functional areas (e.g. project management, manufacturing, quality, regulatory affairs) and external partners to drive project milestones will be required.

The candidate should have strong communication skills, good interpersonal and collaboration skills, an ability to multitask and a strong desire to learn and contribute.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or Related Discipline, OR a Master’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.

Required:

• Experience developing formulations
• Demonstrated ability in independently designing and conducting experiments and analyzing data
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

Preferred:

• Proven ability to identify and develop innovative ideas
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in formulating pharmaceutical products

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. -This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Expected salary range:
$101,100.00 – $159,100.00
